The Silvercare menstrual cup is made of medical thermoplastic rubber and is completely free of silicone latex, BPA and phthalates. The Cups are red so they don´t take unnecessary color during use.

Instructions:
Inserting
1. Sterilize the cup in a pan of boiling water for 5 minutes each month before first use.
2. Always wash your hands before handling the cup.
3. Fold cup as shown.
Tip: To make the insertion easier, you can advantageously use water or water-based gel. NEVER use silicone based gel.
4. Insert the cup folded. It can fold out before it is fully inserted, but simply insert it until the stem is not visible from the outside. You can customize this by cutting a little of the stems.
Removal
1. Don't use your cup for more than 12 hours at a time, without emptying it. How often your cup should be emptied depends on your amount of bleeding.
2. Always wash your hands before handling the cup.
3. To remove your cup, pull the stem while using your muscles to push the cup downwards until you reach the bottom. Press carefully on the bottom to release the vacuum and pull the cup out.
4. Empty the contents to the toilet, clean the cup (remember the air holes) and insert it again. If you do not have access to water, use toilet paper to clean it and wash the cup when it is possible again.

The choice depends primarily on whether you have mild or severe menstruation, whether or not you have given birth vaginally, as well as your body structure.
If you have severe menstruation, your cup should be as big as possible. If your menstruation is mild, you can choose a smaller size, small or medium.
If you have given birth vaginally, you should use medium or large. If you have not yet born you should probably choose a smaller size, either small or medium.
The choice of size is also related to your body structure. If you are small and slender, we suggest you start with a smaller menstrual cup. If you are high and / or heavily built, then size large is probably the cup you need.
