As a Deodorant:
Everyone’s body chemistry is different, but when you want a natural deodorant that fights against sweat and odors, you need Alépia’s Alum Stone Stick.
It is a crystal deodorant made from natural mineral salt (potassium alum). Our version is in stone form. The natural mineral salt content of the Alum Stone Stick works to kill bacteria that harbored in your underarms that cause odors.
USE: Best applied immediately out of the shower or bath when your underarms are clean and moist. Simply rub the stone under your arms like a regular stick deodorant. Or lightly wet the stone under the water tap and apply. Rub the natural Alum Stick to your underarms until dry.
Alum deodorants should last for a full day, but if you need to reply just make sure your underarms are clean before you reply the Stone Stick.
To Stop Bleeding / Relieve Insect Stings:
Natural Alum Stone can also be used to stop bleeding from small cuts and nicks usually associated with shaving, but can work for papercuts and scratches as well. It will also provide relief from insect stings and bits.
Alum Sticks have an antiseptic property that will help kill bacteria and act as a balm providing cool relief.
USE: Dampen Alum Stick under tap water then press it against any cut, nick or sting. The antiseptic properties will disinfect. As an after shave balm and to prevent ingrown hairs, rub the damp stone over facial area affected.
Note: If the Alum Stick is or becomes wet, it is best to store it upside down to prevent the water from dissolving the natural salts that make up the stone. Better yet, let it completely dry before storing away.
