Plastic and viscose fibers are known irritants to women's vaginal cavities. In our Suztain Naturals intimate hygiene range (except tampons without applicator) are completely plastic-free. Instead, maize-based bioplastic is used, made with natural ingredients. With our tampons without applicator, we opted for a very thin shell of the polypropylene to easy with the digital insertion of the cotton tampons.
Our intimate hygiene products are not compostable or fully biodegradable - But you will find no intimate hygiene products that are compostable because they all contain a glue layer that connects the absorbent core with the protective layer. They are, however, made with the utmost respect for both the woman and the environment. You will not find a product on the market which is cleaner than Suztain Naturals made by Silvercare.
